David Morrison
David has represented local governments for over forty years. He attended Wofford College. Afterwards, he attended the four-year joint degree program at the University of South Carolina School of Law and the School of Business, attaining a Juris Doctor and a Master’s in Business Administration in 1980. He was admitted to the South Carolina bar in 1980 and to the North Carolina bar in 1991. He has an active statewide practice in both state and federal courts defending entities and individuals. He has tried more than 150 civil cases to verdict. He has been a speaker at many Risk Management seminars on governmental issues and liability and at South Carolina Bar Continuing Legal Education seminars on state and federal governmental and employee liability.
